on being a brainless fan

I love it when I find someone whose work I can act like a brainless fan towards. Feirouz, Khalil jibran, Chuck Palahniuk or Allain de Button, you name it. But a name was recently added to my (act-crazy-whenever-you-hear-anything-related-to) short list. and the name of the winner is...
ehm, okay that was just silly... but a little drum roll could spice it up a little...
Ziad Rahbani, I don't know if he could count because of he's directly related to sett Feirouz (her son), but who the fuck sets the rules, right? well I do (for the other brainless folks out there, yes you).
I just can't express how amazing that dude is. I mean, he is a kick ass composer. I keep listening to his music, and I keep liking it one after the other.
and the best thing about it is that his music grew on me. like, first I didn't like it, but gradually got into the state where I am in love with every little detail about it. That's when you know you got a keeper, not only in music taste but in everything. you know how silly you think "easy come, easy go" is? but it's fuckin true, I'm tellin' you. Every time I fall easily into love with a piece of music, I get bored of eventually. A real keeper starts as I fuckin' hate this and ends with I fuckin' love this (that shit is deep, right?... nah!!!)

okay back to the more family friendly/self-censoring version of me. I'm really tempted to recommend this guy's music to everyone, but people keep wondering why I like it when I do.  So you're not going to ruin it for me sucka's.
Anyway, I'm planning to do this thing tomorrow. but I'm not really sure I'll have the courage. wish me luck!
