Arafat day

I had just gotten home today at almost 2am when the phone rang. I thought it must have been a friend of mine who'd forgotten to tell me something or anything of that sort. I answered, and to my surprise the voice of my brother came from the other end. He told me that the sheep that was supposed to be sacrificed the next day was lost in a big car accident.
to be honest, I didn't know how to react to such news. I wanted to laugh, but neither my parents nor my brother thought it was funny. I just imagined the sheep driving the truck trying to escape when they had that accident, or may be they chose to put their lives to an end by blinding the truck driver somehow.
the whole incident sounded cartoonish to me. huh?
